A perfectly reasonable-looking query, written in good faith, that redefines a metric or entity slightly differently from everyone else's — silently spawning a competing version of the truth. No malice, no obvious bug; just drift nobody notices until the numbers disagree in a meeting. The villain that governed mappings and deterministic generation exist to prevent.
